Kunjin dolls where created by migrant sex workers. Being migrants, women could not travel to take part in advocacy and call out for labour rights for sex workers. Instead, women represented themselves in papier mache dolls. Kunjins, equipped with an empower passport, have traveled the world, attended meetings, partied and stood tall while immigration officers stamped their passports.
